My Story

From a Fine Arts background I graduated from Suffolk Community College and transferred to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) to complete my bachelor's in Graphic Design. Things were looking up after I finished FIT I worked at PSEG Long Island an electrical company for over a year. Until the pandemic hit and changed everything, it was the biggest setback of my life because I lost my job because of it. But I couldn’t let that stop me from wanting to create and to help others. That is where UX Design/Product Design came in and changed my view entirely. Knowing that my design and research would help those in accessibility and ease of use gave me my motivation to learn UX Design and go through General Assembly to get a bigger feel of the field. With all that has happened to me, I know I want to continue what has got me to this point, to create.
